Local businesses gear up for Small Business Saturday

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Many local businesses are getting ready for Small Business Saturday, a day declared so by Governor Brian Sandoval.
The shopping day is meant to help foster neighborhoods by getting people to spend money in their own communities.
This year, events like the Neon Holiday Bazaar are being held in front of the El Cortez from noon until 8pm.
Polly Weinstein, who owns a local jewlery store called the Jewler's Daughter, decided to organize the bazaar to attract businesses and customers to downtown.
Weinstein expects nearly a thousand people to show up.
