Crowds turn out for Black Friday in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- There were still plenty of people out shopping Friday morning in the Las Vegas Valley although many stores opened late Thursday night.
Some shoppers have been out since 7 or 8 p.m. and were still going strong at 6 a.m. Friday morning. And then there were the people who actually camped out in the days leading up to the big sales all in the name of savings.
Action News cameras visited several Valley locations during the night to catch the action and see just who was willing to lose sleep over saving a few dollars.
We also found out that although electronics are a big draw, many people don't really have anything specific in mind. They are just out for the deals.
Some stores were offering huge discounts for "Black Friday." For example, Kohl's knocked 60 or 70 percent off of some items.
