The candidates are making last-minute pushes for votes in the swing state on Thursday, a day before the end of Nevada's early voting.

Ryan is headlining a 3 p.m. event open to the public at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. He plans a private visit Thursday evening with campaign workers and volunteers at his Las Vegas headquarters.

Obama speaks Thursday afternoon near the College of Southern Nevada's Cheyenne campus in North Las Vegas. He'll be joined by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, who are both stressing the importance of the Latino vote.
