President Obama bringing star power to park
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The president will be back in town Wednesday.
The state of Nevada is a highly-contest battleground state and it has definitely been on the radar of both campaigns.
President Obama will speak later Wednesday at Doolittle park, near West Lake Mead Boulevard and H Street.
Pop singer Katy Perry will be singing at the rally. It is her second performance in support of the president.
Obama was in Dayton, Ohio with the vice president Tuesday. They spoke before a crowd of nearly 10,000 supporters.
According to the latest polling numbers, Obama is leading Romney by two points in Nevada.
That is a far cry from the 12 and a half point lead that he had over Sen. McCain at this time in the election back in 2008.
First Lady Michelle Obama will be in town on Friday, speaking at Orr Middle School.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Wednesday for the president.
