Las Vegas police looking for casino theft suspect

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a suspect in a high denomination chip theft from The Venetian.
The theft happened shortly before 6 a.m. on Oct. 10. Police say that the suspect was able to gain access to a closed area of the casino and removed chips of various denominations.
There were no weapons involved in the crime and no confrontation between the suspect and others occurred during the theft.
The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Akingide Cole of Palmdale, Calif.
Cole is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 6-feet tall, and about 256 pounds.
He has short dark hair worn in a semi-mohawk style and a dark goatee. He also has a large fibrous growth on his left earlobe.
Cole was last seen wearing glasses, a grey jacket, black shirt, and green print tie with blue jeans.
