Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A flood advisory remains in effect until 4:15 p.m. as parts of Southern Nevada continue to be hit with scattered downpours.
Heavy rains hit the Las Vegas area on Wednesday and continued on and off throughout the night and into Thursday.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue throughout the afternoon in the Valley, according to the National Weather Service. Those showers could produce up to another half inch of rain in Las Vegas and Boulder City.
Many areas on the west side of the Valley have seen more than an inch of rain since the storm began, with most of the precipitation coming after midnight.
Slick and flooded roadways are slowing down drivers throughout the Valley. Drivers are warned to be cautious of water over streets, as cars can become easily trapped.
