MINDEN, Nev. (AP) -- The Nevada Highway Patrol has released the names of four people killed in two separate accidents in Douglas County last weekend.

Three people were killed just before midnight Saturday when 21-year-old Matthew Walburg of Reno allowed his 2007 Nissan Frontier to cross into southbound traffic on U.S. 395 near Leviathan Mine Road, about 12 miles south of Gardnerville.

Walburg's vehicle crashed head-on into a 1995 Geo Metro driven by 66-year-old James Harvey of Yerington. Also in the car was 50-year-old Brenda Stringham of Gardnerville. All three died in the crash.

Early Sunday authorities say 43-year-old Rafael Silva-Olivas of Carson City lost control of his 1991 Jeep Wrangler while driving north on U.S. 395 in Minden. The driver was ejected when the Jeep overturned. He died at a hospital.
