UPDATE: Power has since been restored at Eldorado High School.

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The students at Eldorado High School were bused to Desert Pines High School because of a power outage on Wednesday.

Clark County School District Police Capt. Ken Young said he did not know the cause of the power outage or when it would be resolved. The power went out around 9 a.m.

The school is located near East Washington Avenue and North Christy Lane in the east part of the Valley.

A representative with NV Energy says that a crew is on scene. Students will be bused back to Eldorado at the end of the school day so that they can be transported home as normal.

Parents were notified of the situation through the school district's automated calling system.
