Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas needs a diverse economy. One growing local business definitely meets the bill.
Xtreme Green employs 15 people right now. But they're growing fast and plan to expand their workforce in the next year.
President Neil Roth says his three-wheeled police mobility vehicles are being used by police and security agencies all over the World. McCarran International Airport uses several of his company's ATVs. Why? They use no gas. They are 100% battery powered.
Neil Green says his company loves Las Vegas because, "There is a great supply of workers. Talented workers with a lot of experience."
Partner Byron Georgiou says, "There are a lot of people out there attempting to diversify our economy. People talk about it a lot. But the hard work is demonstrated by companies like ours that employ 15 people. We hope to employ 3-4 times that over the next couple of years and that's important to our community."
Xtreme Green has hundreds of thousands of dollars in orders waiting to fill. And business is about to grow even more. Xtreme Green just inked a deal with Masio Camouflage so they'll be outfitting their UTV's and ATV's for hunters next year.
