Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Bus riders returned to the stop today where four people were killed -- people just like them who catch the bus every morning at Spring Mountain and Decatur.
But Thursday morning was different for people like Aja Ponder, who decided not to go to work. At the time, she didn't know that decision could have meant life or death.
"I'm honestly really, really glad that I didn't work yesterday because that probably would have been me," said Ponder.
James Cobb took an earlier route that morning -- just 20 minutes before a car came barreling through his stop. "That's the bus I usually used to catch but I've been catching it earlier," said Cobb.
Other people who frequent this intersection say the stop is a little too close for comfort. "Typically, when I take this route, I sit back from the bus stop," said one rider.
And a day after that horrific crash, more are doing the same -- putting a little more distance between them and the passing cars.
The Regional Transportation Commission says that they are planning to put a temporary bus stop in place of the one that was destroyed for now.
In the meantime, a memorial is growing in the spot for the three women and one man that lost their lives.
