Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police have arrested 28-year-old Josue Nunez of Las Vegas in the connection with the body of a man found in a car on Alameda Avenue on Monday.

Police officers were dispatched to Alameda Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. Monday in response to a possible burglary in progress.

Arriving officers discovered a vehicle parked in front of a house in the 4000 block of Alameda. A deceased adult male was in the back seat.

Nunez was found hiding in a shed nearby a short time later.

According to police, the victim -- 31-year-old Las Vegas resident Steven Roy Blair -- was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Nunez had just been kicked out of Chicas Bonitas strip club when he ran across Blair in a parking lot.

Police say that Nunez robbed and shot Blair and then drove with his body in the car to Alameda Avenue.

Nunez has been charged with murder with a deadly weapon; robbery with a deadly weapon; burglary with a deadly weapon; and first-degree kidnapping with a weapon.

Nunez was wanted on a fugitive warrant for escaping house arrest at the time of his arrest.
