Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have raided home where pot was being grown.
The house near Rainbow Boulevard and Windmill belongs to 23-year-old Michael Herda, the grandson of John Herda who was a Las Vegas businessman who was killed in a home invasion in August 2006.
This raid was performed as a joint-task force with Metro Police, Henderson Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Police say they recovered more than 50 marijuana plants (an estimated $150,000 in street value).
Police say tips from neighbors, saying they smelled pot coming from the home, led them to investigate the home.
Herda is facing several felony counts including growing and selling marijuana.
