CREATED Aug. 7, 2012

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will be performing soon on the same stage in a brand new show at The Venetian.

After rumors swirled for weeks, The Venetian officially confirmed the power couple's "Soul2Soul" show at a press conference Tuesday.

McGraw and Hill were in Las Vegas for the announcement and say the show will be unlike any they've done in the past.

The limited, 10-weekend run of shows begins Dec. 7. It will be the first time in six years that the couple has done a full concert together in the United States.

The show will be held in the 1,800-seat theater that now houses "Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular."  The Venetian plans to revamp the space.

Performances are scheduled for 8 and 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15; Jan. 18, 19, 25, 26; Feb. 1, 2, 15, 16, 22, 23; March 1, 2; April 12, 13, 26 and 27.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday and open to the general public Monday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m.

Tickets can be bought through Ticketmaster and range in price from $95.50 to nearly $300.

The show is expected to be a huge boost for Las Vegas tourism, which is already benefiting from country music fans.

Shania Twain is also starting a residency at Caesars Palace this winter and Garth Brooks continues to sell out Wynn's Encore Theater.
