Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Action News has been asking businesses to get involved in our Be Smart. Be Safe. campaign.

APAC Customer Services in Las Vegas has seen an overwhelming response from its employees, wanting to sign the pledge.

"Everybody here needs to be safe," said Shelly Hofer, an APAC employee. "I moved here a few months ago from the Midwest and I was appalled at the number of pedestrian deaths last year. Everybody needs to be more safe."

When Hofer learned about Action News' Be Smart. Be Safe. campaign, she wanted to get involved. She put the pledges out at her work, and saw an incredible response. 184 APAC employees signed the pledge within two weeks.

Action News is encouraging other businesses to get involved as well, by displaying the words "Be Smart. Be Safe." on the sign outside of their business.

Just send a picture to photos@ktnv.com and include some information about your business and you might see it on Action News.
