Fabulous Freddy's 4th Annual Kidz Day
Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual event takes place at Fabulous Freddy's in two locations - Summerlin (9611 Trailwood) and Durango (4350 South Durango) and features a rock wall, jump houses, car wash deals and more.

California Hotel's 15th Annual Lei Day Polynesian Festival
Saturday, May 5 at 9 a.m. and Sunday, May 6 at 9 a.m.
The festival includes delicious food, island entertainment and a chance to win a trip to Hawaii. The event takes place in the parking lot at Stewart and Main. 
 
Pinoy Pride Celebration
Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Pinoy Pride at Town Square celebrates Asian-pacific heritage month with food, music and cultural activities. 
 
Faith Lutheran students perform "All Shook Up" 
Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
Students from Faith Lutheran will be performing "All Shook Up" this weekend at the school's Performing Arts Center. Performers gave us a preview on Action News Live @ Midday this week. 
 
Project Playhouse
Saturday, May 5 at 10 a.m.
Town Square hosts the Project Playhouse event featuring custom-built playhouses for kids and pets. Tickets are $5 each for a chance to win one of the playhouses. Proceeds benefit HomeAid Southern Nevada, an organization helping homeless families. 
 
Free Comic Book Day
Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
Cosmic Comics! in Las Vegas celebrates Free Comic Book Day by giving away comic books, offering a store-wide sale, a photo booth and free donuts and pizza. The store is located on Flamingo and Sandhill.
 
Farms & Families Festival
Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
Springs Preserve hosts the Farms & Families Festival, featuring arts & crafts, cooking demonstrations, seed planting and face painting. The event is free and includes access to Springs Preserve museums and exhibits. 
 
Carlos'n Charlies Cinco De Mayo party
Saturday, May 5 beginning at 11 a.m. 
Carlos'n Charlies inside at Flamingo Las Vegas hosts its first Cinco De Mayo party on their outdoor patio on Saturday, featuring flair bartenders, dancing, food and margaritas.
 
Las Vegas Science Festival Expo 
Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 7 a.m.
This year's free event takes place at the Cashman Center and features booths, robotic demonstrations, a Rubik's Cube competition and more.  
 
Kentucky Derby Viewing Party
Saturday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The El Cortez Hotel & Casino downtown is hosting a Kentucky Derby viewing party including drink specials, $1 menu specials and a chance to cheer on all your favorite horses.

Señor Frog's inside Treasure Island Hotel and Casino celebrates its Grand Opening on Cinco De Mayo with a fiesta and live music all day.

Bally's on the Las Vegas Strip hosts a weekend-long Cinco De Mayo celebration, complete with drink specials, a live DJ and bands. 
 
Water Safety Day 
Saturday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Water Safety Day to help educate parents on how to keep kids safe this summer. The event is free and includes an open swim afterwards. Registration is recommended.
