Report: Teen used stun gun on mom's fiance
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A report released by police describes how a 17-year-old allegedly killed his mother's fiance using a stun gun on Monday.
According to authorities, the teen and his mother's fiance, identified as Frank Garcia, got into an argument over prescription pills in the family's home on Canvas Canyon Court in southwest Las Vegas.
When the argument escalated, the teen's mother said her son tased Garcia on the right side of his neck with a stun gun. The teen then reportedly began kicking the victim several times.
The teen's mom called 911. Officers responding found Garcia unconscious on the floor. He was later pronounced dead at St. Martin Hospital. Doctors there said Garcia experienced cardiac arrest and may have suffered cranial bleeding. The Clark County Coroner's Office has not officially determined Garcia's cause of death.
Police found the 17-year-old in a desert area near the home. He was taken into custody as police continue to investigate the incident.
The teen's mom said her son purchased the Cheetah 350kv stun gun allegedly used on Garcia online a couple of months prior.
