Mother accused of killing daughter with scissors in court
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The mother who is accused of killing her daughter with a pair of scissors appeared in court this morning for a preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors asked for more time to prepare. The hearing has been continued to April 26.
Danielle Slaughter is accused of killing her six-year-old daughter on March 11.
Slaughter was found near her house without clothes and blood on her hands.
She has told police that she felt an evil presence in her house in the days leading up to the her daughter's death and that her daughter was "laughing at her in an evil voice."
