EASTER EGG HUNTS/SPECIAL EVENTS
EASTER HOLIDAY FUN

Where: Cambridge Recreation Center, 3930 Cambridge St.

ETHEL M CHOCOLATES' ANNUAL SPRING SPECTACULAR
When: April 6-8. Hours are 1-5 p.m. April 6; noon to 5 p.m. April 7; and 1 to 5 p.m. April 8.
Where: Ethel M Chocolates, 2 Cactus Garden Drive, Henderson
Families are invited to stroll the sprawling three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden, observing the many sights and sounds of the blooming cacti and participate in free Easter activities. Family-friendly activities include: Photos with the Easter Bunny, Face Painters, Balloon Artists and free factory tours. Artwork created by individuals with disabilities from Opportunity Village will be on display Saturday.
5TH ANNUAL HOP & SHOP AT TOWN SQUARE PARK
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 7
Where: Town Square Park
Families can visit Town Square for a free Hop & Shop Easter event with Easter egg hunts taking place throughout the day. Children can meet the Easter Bunny on the mini express train that travels around Town Square. Bring your camera for a chance to take a photo with the bunny on the train. Tickets to ride the train are $3.
Easter egg hunts are scheduled for children ages one to 10 years old every half hour from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Town Square Park.
Children should bring their own baskets to carry their treats, and they must be registered and receive a wristband prior to participating in the egg hunts.
WARD 6 ANNUAL SPRING CELEBRATION
When: 12 to 4 p.m. April 7
Where: Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs
The Annual Spring Celebration will feature a one-mile fun run/walk; a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Environmental Enhancement Project; amusement park rides and jump houses; crafts and vendors; farmers market; and live entertainment.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA AT SPRINGS PRESERVE

Where: Springs Preserve
Join the Easter Bunny and celebrate the arrival of spring as the Springs Preserve hosts the family-friendly EggStravaganza celebration on Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hop on by for a day filled with festive spring-inspired activities, including an EggScavenger Hunt (for children 6 and over), Egg Hunt (for children 5 and under), bunny petting pen, pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painting, arts and crafts, food, live entertainment and much more.
Adult admission is free, and all-ages passes for children are available for $10 per child, or only $8 for members. Tickets are limited.
EASTER EGG HUNT

Where: First Henderson United Methodist Church
The church will host an Easter egg hunt on April 7. There will be a special toddler area for children ages 0-4. The egg hunt will have more than 1,000 eggs.
PARTY WITH A PURPOSE TO BENEFIT THREE SQUARE
Prudential Americana Group Realtors will host an Easter celebration called "Party With a Purpose" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 7 at Desert Bloom Park. There will be a magic show, pictures with the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, a bouncy house and slide, free lunch and prizes. The party will benefit Three Square's backpack program.
VILLAGE SQUARE SPRING GARDEN PARTY
When: 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 7
Where: Village Square at the Northwest corner of W. Sahara Ave. and Ft. Apache Rd.
The Spring Garden Partywill include an “Eggstravaganza Hunt”, bunny farm, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny, and a “Basket Bonanza” for children and adults alike to enjoy.
The bunny petting zoo area will include a large spring garden party display featuring the Easter bunny and fun photo cutouts for the whole family. One complimentary photo will be provided to each family. The “Basket Bonanza” giveaway is for all ages and will include a chance to win one basket containing a brand new iPad. The egg hunt “Eggstravaganza” will feature fun candy eggs provided by Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop and include a lucky “Golden Egg” containing a $100 prize value. The egg hunt is open to children ages 1-8 years old and buckets for the egg hunt will be provided for the first 100 participants. During the event, children can receive colorful and fun face-painting by a professional artist or can become artists themselves at the Color Me Mine paint-your-own pottery station where the store will be providing complimentary keepsakes.
EASTER EGG HUNT AND BRUNCH

Centennial Hills Community Center YMCA members and families are invited to an Easter egg hunt and brunch. Light snacks, egg dying, crafts and an Easter egg hunt are planned.
EASTER BRUNCH AND EGG HUNTS
When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 8
Where: Simon Restaurant & Lounge, Palms Place
Simon Restaurant & Lounge inside Palms Place will serve Easter Brunch and host two egg hunts on Sunday, April 8. The Sunday spread will be served from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Easter Sunday with two egg hunts for children at 9 a.m. and noon.
Easter Brunch at Simon is $49 per adult. For children 12 and under, the cost is $29, which includes entry in one egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance at Simon during brunch hours. The purchase of brunch is required for kids to participate in the egg hunt.
EASTER HOP AT VALLEY OF FIRE STATE PARK
When: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 8
Where: The Easter Bunny will hop around to the following locations at various times: Atlatl rock campground, Arch Rock campground, Group Use area, Atlatl Picnic area, Seven Sisters area, historic Conservation Corps cabins area and the Visitor Center. The park is located only six miles from Lake Mead and 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas via Interstate 15 and on exit 75.
EASTER CHOCOLATE DISPLAY
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand hotel and casino has created an exquisite chocolate display that showcases the spirit of Easter with chocolate bunnies, hens and eggs; sugar picnic baskets with colorful bows, flowers, shells and fish plus a variety of fondant bird cages filled with sweet surprises.
Chef Guechida and his team of 10 spent more than 1,000 hours over six weeks discussing, sketching and testing dozens of ideas before finalizing the presentation of nearly 500 pieces. Over 110 pounds of milk, dark and white chocolate, 2,000 tablespoons of sugar and 50 containers of colored cocoa butter were used to create and decorate all of the beautiful items on display at the restaurant.
The Easter display will be available for viewing at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon through Monday, April 30.

Easter Seals Walk With Me is a national fundraising event that spreads hope and raises funds to support families living with disabilities! For just $5, children can participate in Easter Seals Nevada’s Easter Carnival featuring an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, activities for the family, food, music and more.
Cafe Cortez will serve a baked ham Easter dinner special from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $8.50.

Canal Street's Easter menu will feature seared diver scallops; choice of roasted garlic soup or chilled broccoli salad; choice of tournedos of beef for $26 or stuffed lemon sole for $31; and a fresh fruit tart for dessert. Served 5 to 10 p.m.
Costa Cantina's Easter menu will feature orange roughy ceviche, tortilla soup or house salad, and choice of Milanesa con Mariscos or Camarones ala Diabla. Dessert is mango flan. Hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Cost is $15.99.
Courtyard Cafe will offer choice of soup or salad; choice of New Zealand baby lamb chops or roast tom turkey or rum-glazed Virginia ham; and carrot cake for dessert. Served 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. $12.99 per person.
Prime Rib Loft will offer a set menu featuring pancetta crisps; choice of roasted corn, pepper and tomato chowder or Heirloom tomato salad; choice of Steak Diane or bacon-wrapped veal loin; and red velvet cake for dessert. Served 5 to 10 p.m. Cost is $30.
THE RESORT ON MOUNT CHARLESTON
Brunch and Eggs and Rabbits, oh my! The Resort on Mount Charleston creates a family vibe for Easter this year, April 8th, with the Easter Sunday Brunch. Hosted with breakfast classics such as eggs, bacon and sausage, the brunch buffet will also include carved ham and turkey, corn, asparagus, scalloped and breakfast potatoes, salad bar, an omelet and waffle station! To top things of its sweet treats with a dessert display including chocolate fountain. Enjoy the brunch buffet at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon or 1:30 p.m. For the kiddies, let them go wild at 2 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. with an exciting Easter Egg hunt! The Feast and Festival Buffets at Station Casinos properties will feature several special dishes for Easter including a turkey, prime rib and ham carving station; minted lamb chops and crab-stuffed salmon at Red Rock and Green Valley; salmon in hollandaise sauce except Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch; mushroom and herb chicken; added Asian selections; chicken and pork tamales; and a variety of desserts.

Grand Café locations at Boulder Station, Palace Station, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station are offering two spring-inspired entrée choices: Bourbon and whole grain mustard glazed ham with candied walnuts, wild rice and fresh vegetable medley ($8.99) and Grilled salmon and shrimp pasta with pesto cream ($13.99).
Grand Café locations at Red Rock Resort and Green Valley Ranch resort will offer an affordable upscale three-course meal at a cost of $18.99.The meal will include appetizer of spring mix salad with frisee and arugula, grain mustard vinaigrette and candied walnuts; Roasted leg of lamb with garlic mashed potatoes, spring peas and pearl onions served with a red wine demi glace for an entrée; and a dessert of a dark chocolate Easter egg with white chocolate raspberry mousse center.
The specials will be offered during lunch and dinner service at each location. All Grand Cafés are open 24 hours.
Tbones Chophouse at Red Rock will offer and upscale brunch and dinner. Brunch at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature unlimited white peach bellinis, fresh baked breads and pastries, chilled shrimp and snow crab claws; carving stations; cook-to-order omelets; a variety of hot dishes; and indulgent desserts. Cost is $65 per person, $29 for children 8 and younger.
Dinner offerings include spring asparagus salad for $12; roasted lamb loin with fingerling potatoes for $52 or Nantucket sea scallops with English peas for $42; and citrus puff pastry with honey cream for $12. Reservations for both are suggested.
Terra Verde at Green Valley Ranch will also offer a brunch. Choices include whole poached salmon, an omelet station, lobster and crab salad, pasta with shrimp and lopbster, breakfast calzones, salad, fruit, cheeses and dessert. Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $36.95 per person.
Terra Rossa at Red Rock will feature an artichoke appetizer for $14; spring lamb with spinach and butternut squash for $48; pappardelle made with wild boar, fresh ricotta and thyme, $26; and torta di ricotta with honey and pistachio gelato, $10. Available from noon to 9 p.m.
Pasta Cucina will offer lobster and shrimp Milanese over fresh linguini with heirloom tomato and mushroom sauce. The entrée runs $19.99 per person. Pasta Cucina is located at Aliante Station, Boulder Station, Palace Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station. Hours will vary by location and reservations are accepted.
Mexican restaurants at Station Casinos and Fiesta properties, including Cabo Mexican Restaurant, Garduños and Amigo’s, will add some spice to Easter with: Crab and shrimp enchiladas for $13.99 including soup or a house salad
Cabo Mexican Restaurant is located at Aliante Station, Boulder Station, Palace Station, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe
Station and Sunset Station. Garduños is located at Fiesta Rancho and Amigo’s is located at Fiesta Henderson.
Tides Oyster Bar at Green Valley Ranch will offer a special menu featuring quinoa and vegetable salad; jumbo sea
scallops with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes; and strawberry fruit Napoleon. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 8. Cost is $29.
The Charcoal Room at Santa Fe Station: A la carte choices with appetizers of compressed watermelon salad with feta cheese and sherry gastrique watermelon reduction vinaigrette for $12 and grilled American Kurobuta pork belly confit with orange marmalade drizzle for $16. Entrée choices, all served with olive oil Yukon puree and baby sautéed zucchini, include beef Wellington with mushrooms, wrapped in a puff pastry with truffle red wine sauce for $55, Kurobuta pork tenderloin roulade stuffed with dried apricots, smoked almonds, apples and arugula for $45 and a dessert of dark chocolate sponge cake with crème of Amaretto a la mode for $10. The restaurant is open 2 p.m.-9 p.m. and reservations are accepted.
The Broiler Steak & Seafood at Palace Station: A full meal with a la carte choices including an appetizer of Maryland blue crab dip ($13), entrée choices of Colorado lamb chops with mint infused demi glace and sides that include potatoes and braised baby carrots ($42) or prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes ($36) and a dessert of crème brulee ($5). The restaurant opens at 4 and reservations are accepted.
The Broiler Steak & Seafood at Boulder Station: A full meal with a la carte choices including an appetizer of Maryland blue crab dip ($13), Colorado lamb chops with mint infused demi glace and sides that include potatoes and braised baby carrots ($42) for an entrée and a dessert of crème brulee ($5). The restaurant will open at noon and reservations are accepted.
Austins Steakhouse at Texas Station: A three-course meal for $48 consisting of tomato and roasted peppers soup with goat cheese crostini, entrée choices of pesto glazed salmon with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach or New York strip steak duxelle with herb roasted Yukon Gold potatoes and asparagus, and flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The restaurant will open at 4 p.m. and reservations are accepted.
Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse at Sunset Station: A special meal with an appetizer of beet salad drizzled with avocado oil and reduced wine vinegar topped with feta cheese and micro greens, and for an entrée, roasted medallions of lamb with red wine demi glace over fingerling potatoes. The meal costs $54. The restaurant opens at 3 p.m. and reservations are accepted.
MRKT at Aliante Station: A full-course meal of a MRKT chopped salad for an appetizer, Cajun-style sea bass topped with shrimp and served with walnuts and asparagus, and chocolate decadence cake for dessert. The cost is $56. The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. and reservations are accepted.
Hank’s Fine Steaks at Green Valley Ranch: A special menu with items offered a la carte. The appetizer is a salad of fresh figs, Maytag blue cheese, bing cherries and candied pecans, tossed with Mache lettuce for $12 and an entrée of maple syrup and brown sugar brined pork chop with bacon and applewood house made sauerkraut for $40. The restaurant opens at 5 p.m. and reservations are accepted.
Fuego at Fiesta Henderson: An entrée of salmon with mustard maple sauce served with sautéed spinach and roasted red potatoes. The restaurant will open at 2 p.m. and reservations are accepted.
Willey & Jose's will have chicken mole enchiladas for $15 and asada con camaron for $18.
Firelight Buffet will feature choice of prime rib, rosemary roasted leg of lamb and baked glazed ham; almond-encrusted pork chops; pasta seafood with shrimp and scallops; chicken cordon bleu; Chinese food cooked to order; Mexican dishes; and a variety of desserts. All brunch/breakfast items served until 3 p.m. Hours 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. $13.99 for card members.
Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetary will present its 27th annual Easter Sunrise Service. The service is designed to respect multiple faiths. Rev. Leo Wood will deliver the message.
