Newly-released accident report details fatal Halloween crash
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The accident report has been released for the 12-year-old girl that was killed by a car Halloween night.
The attorney for the family of Faith Love received a copy of the report on Tuesday morning.
It was nearly five months ago when Love was struck by a car while crossing Sandstone Bluffs in Summerlin South.
The driver of the car, 41-year-old Justin Caramanica, was arrested at the scene.
In a voluntary statement to the police, Caramanica admitted that he had been drinking and had taking Oxycodone and Xanax the night of the crash.
Police estimated that he was going 46 MPH in a 25 MPH zone at the time of the accident.
Caramanica is facing charges of felony reckless driving and driving under the influence.
The family is also planning on filing a civil lawsuit against him very soon.
