Henderson mayor responds to police beating video
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The city of Henderson is responding to the video showing a man being swarmed and kicked by police during a traffic stop.
The police involved claimed they thought he was drunk, but later discovered he was diabetic and suffering from insulin shock.
Adam Greene and his wife are now set to receive a settlement of about $300,000 from the city of Henderson and the state of Nevada.
The mayor of Henderson issued a statement on Thursday saying in part:
"What happened to Mr. Greene was wrong and we regret the pain and suffering that he and his family endured because of it."
