Teacher accused of drunken driving appears in court
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The first grade teacher accused of drunk driving and running down a teenager made her first court appearance on Wednesday.
26-year-old Noel Lardeo was in court for a probable cause hearing.
The Roger Bryan Elementary School teacher has also been placed on unpaid administrative leave.
Lardeo was arrested Sunday on DUI charges after police said she swerved off the road and hit a 15-year-old boy at a bus stop on Spring Mountain near El Camino.
One of the boy's legs had to be amputated, and he remains in critical condition.
Police said Lardeo had two bottles of vodka in her car. She and her passenger were not injured in the crash.
