Armed man robs North Las Vegas pawn shop

North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for a possible suspect in an armed robbery at a pawn shop in North Las Vegas.

Authorities say the robbery began when a man walked in to a pawn shop in the 200 block of West Craig Road at about 9 a.m. on Saturday. The robber pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash registers.

The clerk cooperated and gave the armed robber an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detectives are trying to identify the robber from surveillance video still shots. He was described as a light-skinned black man, about 5-foot 8-inches tall and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray coat, tan pants, black shoes, a black Fedora-style hat and sunglasses.
