Car of missing man discovered near Galleria Mall
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The car of a missing Las Vegas man was discovered in a parking lot near the Galleria Mall Saturday.
There is still no sign of 27 year-old David Miller, who's been missing since September 4.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers found his green Hyundai Elantra near the Galleria Mall after retailers tipped them off, saying it has been in their parking lot since Monday.
Police are now reviewing surveillance tapes to see who dropped the car off.
Miller's family tells Action News that David suffered from depression and emotional issues but not hearing from him for a week is out of character.
"He's had some tough times and some emotionally difficult times in his life," says Kevin Miller, David's father. "He is not on any medication but has just had some emotional difficulties that have been hard."
The discovery of his car, abandoned across town from the family's Summerlin home, adds to the mystery.
"It just leaves a lot of questions. We don't know," says David's mother Michelle Miller. "I think it's possible he went out on his own but until we hear any word I really feel strongly that we should search and work actively to find him."
