Heart Check America ordered to pay $3.2 million by Colorado officials

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Heart Check America closed its Las Vegas office in May, leaving many wondering where their money went after signing contracts for thousands of dollars. State officials found the medical imaging company scanned patients without a doctor's order. The company has locations in several other states. Now, Action News has learned the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment ordered Heart Check America to pay $3.2 million for nine violations.
The company has 30 days to pay the fine or request a hearing. The Nevada Attorney General's Office is going through a long list of complaints from Valley customers and working with Attorney General offices throughout the country.
