1 shot, 1 arrested in overnight road rage incident

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An overnight road rage incident has landed one person in the hospital with a gunshot wound and another person behind bars.
It all started just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday as two cars were traveling northbound on Interstate 15 near Primm.
According to the Associated Press, the shooting was the result of tailgating.
The driver of the car that was being tailgated was shot after both cars exited the interstate.
The driver was shot in the abdomen.
The shooting suspect then drove off but was later arrested by Nevada Highway Patrol near Tropicana Avenue and Dean Martin Drive.
Police say two cars were headed northbound on I-15 when some kind of road rage incident happened.
One of the drivers pulled over near Primm. The other driver followed. That's when that second driver pulled out a gun and shot the other driver.
The man that was shot went into a nearby gas station for help. A medical helicopter was sent to the area and picked up the injured man.
Officials say the man who was shot is expected to survive.
