As expected, over the weekend country-pop singer Kelly Clarkson married longtime boyfriend Brandon Blackstock. Late Monday morning, she posted photos of the nuptials on her Twitter page, with the message: "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!"
Tweeting her appreciation to the designer of her long-sleeved lace gown, Kelly wrote: "Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress! & thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!" (Fans of "American Idol" will recall that Verraros was a Top 10 finalist on the series during the first season, which, of course, was won by Kelly.)
Kelly also posted this photo of the happy couple, set against the bucolic background of the Great Smoky Mountains. Blackberry Farm is a 4,200 acre luxury hotel and resort in Walland, Tenn., just outside of Knoxville.
