By Stephen L. Betts. CREATED Jan 6, 2014

Just ahead of the February release of his new single, "Beachin'," Jake Owen officially shared news of his headlining Days of Gold tour dates from the ESPN tailgate party stage at the BCS National Championship Monday (Jan. 6).

Kicking off March 20 in Brookings, S.D., the trek runs through October and will wrap in the singer's hometown of Vero Beach, Fla. The 55-city plus tour features openers Eli Young Band (select dates), Parmalee (select dates), Thomas Rhett (select dates) and the Cadillac Three.

"I love throwing parties! This tour is going to be one big party and everyone is invited,” says the country hitmaker. "I've been lucky enough to be on the road and learn from incredible artists like [Kenny] Chesney, [Tim] McGraw, and [Jason] Aldean. I'm really proud of this tour and can't wait for the fans to see what's in store. The first night can not get here fast enough!"
