Inside Edge: Blake's cold nature; No showers for Band Perry; Luke moves to bigger pastures

Record-breaking cold across the Midwest is just fine with Blake Shelton. Blake says he would much rather have cold weather than hot, because he can get out more. "Summer means nothing to me. Summer is a throw-away season. I can't stand when it's hot outside, I like it to be cold,” Blake says. “When it's cold, that's when I'm outdoors most of the time, whether I'm hunting or just doing something outside. Anything that happens when it's cold, I'm always outside. I love it."

Let's get personal with the Band Perry. The group pretty much lives on their tour bus. In fact, they lived 630 days of the last two years on their bus. But it has no shower, so Kimberly Perry says they do “sink showers” and she shaves her legs in the sink -- much to her brothers' horror! The Band Perry is on their We Are Pioneers headline tour beginning in Canada this weekend. They'll return to the U.S. for shows in February.

Luke Bryan and his family are getting ready to move to bigger pastures, literally. Luke has been building a new home on a 169-acre farm near Nashville. The 10,000-square-foot house is still under construction. Luke is also having a trout stream and bass lake dug on the property.

Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise," is now officially the No. 1 best-selling digital country single of all time. Nielsen Soundscan says the song has been downloaded 6.3 million times, surpassing Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" which previously held the best-selling digital country single title. The Band Perry's "If I Die Young" is the third-most downloaded country single of all time.
