Dierks Bentley was among the artists at this past weekend's Country 2 Country Festival in Dublin and London, and reviews of his performance from the British press were enthusiastic, with the Daily Mirror noting, "Dierks was a revelation. We are now fans." The BBC, meanwhile, raved that the country superstar "blew the roof off."
With a show that catered to fans of all ages, Dierks, who was clad in a t-shirt sporting the red, white and blue emblem of the Tennessee state flag, included Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" in his set and segued into "Hey Brother," a track from Swedish DJ Avicii (which features uncredited vocals by bluegrass singer Dan Tyminski of Union Station) receiving the strongest crowd reaction of the night. On Friday (March 21) at 10:00 PM ET on CMT, Dierks and OneRepublic team up for the latest episode of "CMT Crossroads." Next up for the "I Hold On" singer is the anticipated launch of the Riser tour, which will take place May 9 in Charlotte, N.C. To see a list of the singer-songwriter's upcoming tour dates, click here.
