Dierks Bentley is taking part in a week-long tribute to alt-rockers Pearl Jam with a performance Wednesday night on NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." The tribute helps marks the release of the band's 10th studio album. Members of Soundgarden, Avett Brothers and Fleet Foxes will precede Dierks performance of the band's "Alive," alongside Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready and "Late Night" house band, the Roots.

“I love that Fallon dedicates a week of his show to iconic bands like Pearl Jam and I will definitely be there representing as one of their biggest fans myself,” says the singer-songwriter. “Mike and I have had a chance to collaborate before, but this will be the first time we've played a Pearl Jam song together for TV … really looking forward to it!”

In 2011, Dierks paid tribute to another legendary band on "Late Night." His version of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" even garnered praise from the group's Roger Water's, who sent the country musician an email saying, "Hank Williams would have been proud."

Dierks' current single, “I Hold On” is the first release from his upcoming album, "Riser." The new dad is getting ready to host his 8th annual Miles & Music for Kids celebrity motorcycle ride and concert on Nov. 3 in Nashville. Visit his official website for more details.
