Now in its seventh week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, "Royals," by 17-year-old Lorde from New Zealand, has inspired a number of cover versions. Not surprisingly, there's a country act among the artists who have paid tribute to the tune.
But Craig Campbell's version, which pairs him with nationally syndicated radio host Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots, has a very special purpose. Proceeds from the sale of the single are being donated to the Humane Society. The track is now available for purchase at iTunes by clicking here.
This version of the hit song, by the way, earned a spot on Buzzfeed's "6 Awesome Covers of Lorde’s 'Royals'" list. Watch Craig Campbell and the Raging Idiots' version above.
