ACM Awards 2014: Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton return as co-hosts

Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton are set to return as co-hosts for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The star-studded gala will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 8:00 PM ET/delayed PT on CBS. It'll be Blake's fourth consecutive time as host and Luke's second. Luke is the ACM's reigning Entertainer of the Year and Blake is a four-time ACM award winner. Tickets for the ACM Awards will go on sale Dec. 13 at Ticketmaster.

Also announced today: Florida Georgia Line will host the 4th Annual ACM Fan Jam at Mandalay Bay Events Center, Sunday, April 6. Throughout the three-hour telecast from MGM Grand, there will be live ACM Fan Jam performances, via remote, by Florida Georgia Line and others. The ACM Fan Jam, which continues after the live awards show telecast ends, is preceded the 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause Festival, a two-day outdoor music festival featuring a lineup of music performances by country’s top hitmakers. Set for April 4 and 5, tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, with more details to be announced in January.

And on Monday, April 7, an all-star concert will be taped at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a CBS special to air at a later date. Announcements regarding the artists participating in the concert are forthcoming. Ticket proceeds will benefit ACM Lifting Lives.
