The New York City home of actress Susan Sarandon was burglarized over the weekend and the thief made off with a laptop, camera, and some of her jewelry, according to People magazine and the New York Daily News.

The 67-year-old Sarandon was out of town at the time, but her 22-year-old son Miles Robbins was staying in the Manhattan home when the thief entered in the late evening hours. Robbins left the home for the evening between the hours of 8 and 9 p.m.

“During the time the home was vacant it was burglarized and Robbins discovered the crime upon returning home at approximately 3:30 a.m.,” the Daily News reports. “He called police to report the home invasion, indicating he believed the intruder entered through a terrace window or door.”

The value of the pilfered items has not yet been determined. Authorities are said to be waiting until Sarandon returns to New York so she can assess her belongings.
