Is that "Jerry Seinfeld" and "George Costanza" walking into "Monk's Diner"... in real-life?

New Yorker Ali Phil tweeted a chance spotting of former co-stars Seinfeld and Jason Alexander walking into Tom's Restaurant on Manhattan's the Upper West Side in the afternoon on Monday, Jan. 13. Tom's Restaurant is famously known as "Monk's Diner" to "Seinfeld" aficionados.

Sixteen years after the 1998 "Seinfeld" finale, Phil's tweet went viral.

"Phil also confirmed to The Huffington Post that a camera crew was seen filming inside Tom's Restaurant," reports The Huffington Post. Was this a future episode of Seinfeld's web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, or the "'big, huge, gigantic project' alluded to in his Reddit AMA last week -- a Broadway play written by Larry David."

"Seinfeld" creator David was also confirmed at the scene.
