We all know moms work hard every day for free. So, what's mom's value really worth?
With Mother's Day coming up this Sunday, May 11, let's crunch the numbers:
For cooking and cleaning, she should make $12,000. Add in more than $21,000 for childcare and more than $5,000 for being a personal chauffeur. Then add $7,000 for homework help.
Miscellaneous tasks such as shopping, yard work, activity planning and balancing finances totals another $15,000.
Finally, the fee for being a private detective is $1,000. Just think about all the time moms spend keeping tabs on their kids.
According to Insure.com, the average mom's annual salary would be $62,985 if she got paid for doing the job.
