A new attraction has been unveiled in Chicago that’s not for the those with a fear of heights. The “Tilt!” attraction is located on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center, or about 1,000 vertical feet from the ground below.
Visitors stand in bays and hold onto metal railings as the platform they’re standing on, and the windows in front of them, pitch forward and then downward at a 30 degree angle, offering spectacular (or spectacularly scary) views of the city below.
The ride, which costs $5, accommodates eight people at a time for an experience lasting about a minute.
Following a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Tilt! officially opens to the public on Saturday.
