Big Red Now: Monday Morning Quarterback
Huskers Defense Needs To Clean Up Several Problem AreasPhoto: Video by kmtv.com
Lincoln, NE - After the first quarter against Ohio State, the Husker defense allowed the Buckeyes to rack up 481 yards on 49 plays. That's an average of 9.8 yards per play. The 63 points allowed by Nebraska were the most in the Bo Pelini era. Defense is lacking for the Huskers as they enter the bye week.
Eric Martin was the lone bright spot on the defense, tallying two more sacks to his team lead of 5.5 on the season. The Senior Defensive Lineman hopes extra attention to detail in the bye week will add up to a win against Northwestern.
