Omaha, NE--At least half a dozen officers with the U.S. Secret Service, and the Nebraska State Patrol surrounded a west Omaha home late Wednesday to conduct a search warrant.
Neighbors say they first saw at five unmarked squad cars and a State Patrol car pull up to a home at 115th and Read Circle.
Jan Sharpe with the United States Attorney's office says the search was a federal matter being conducted by the Secret Service.
One woman told us she saw agents with bullet proof vests, hands on their guns, and a battering ram surround the home.
"They put her car on a tow truck and then a little while later they came out with her computer and boxes of stuff, and haven't really seen her since," Kippy King, who lives nearby said.
Douglas County records show the home is owned by a Monty Halstead. No arrests have been made in the matter. Sharpe says all details in the matter are under seal and won't be released.
