By Tom Lesyna. CREATED Apr 14, 2014

Omaha, NE- Today is the first day Nebraska voters can cast their ballots in person for the May 13th Primary Election. Registered voters in Douglas and Sarpy Counties can go to the Election Commission office and request an early voting ballot, or have one mailed directly to them. They must be returned before 8 p.m. on Election Day.

The two most high-profile races are for the Republican nominations for Governor and U.S. Senate. Four candidates are running for the Senate nomination, while six candidates are on the ballot for Governor.
