Pilger Days set to go on despite continued tornado clean-up
PILGER, Neb. (KMTV) - Despite tornadoes devastating the village of Pilger only a month ago, it's annual Pilger Days celebration will go on.
Community leaders say they want to keep spirits high for resident.
This week, volunteers have been busy cleaning up, getting ready for the event.
Pilger Days starts Friday, and runs through the weekend.
The main event, a dance in the baseball field, is set for Saturday at 7 p.m.
It's been one month since twin tornadoes ripped through the village.
