Omaha, NE - "A lot of them, scared to come outside today."
At the intersection of Larimore Avenue and Fontenelle Boulevard, homeowners are just plain scared.
"People don't want to go through this anymore. Too many shootings going around in Omaha."
Neighbors here, are sick and tired of the violence.
"Shoot they walked up and got this guy on his step, sitting right down on his chair."
Around 6 PM Sunday evening someone shot a man in his 20's, as he sat on his front porch. Omaha police cruisers swarmed the area looking for the suspect who took off in a car.
"It's kinda scares me because last night I didn't hardly sleep too good at all, I was up half of the night, lurking, walking back and forth to the door, looking out seeing if anybody was around or what."
Linda did not want to show her face on camera, but she describes what she heard and what she saw just feet away from her front door.
"You can't even do that no more. It's just a shame, you can't even sit on your porch and mind your own business."
This is the third weekend in a row for violent shootings. OPD stats show so far in 2013, there have been 24 homicides in the city. 12 of them have been solved.
"I don't know if anything can be done you know like I said these youngsters they got a mind of they own. You know a gun ain't got a mind, they do and shoot, it's up to them you know if they decide to pick up a gun and use it."
While Linda isn't sure if there's an answer to stopping the violence, she does know this...
"And just like the sign says. Enough is enough."
