NE Lawmakers Discuss Ban On E-Cigarettes
CREATED Oct. 4, 2013
Lincoln, NE - E-cigarettes are growing in popularity among teenagers, but in Nebraska, minors may not be able to buy them much longer.
This afternoon in Lincoln, Nebraska lawmakers will meet to discuss a possible ban on the devices.
They're commonly used by smokers who are trying to quit.
The E-cigarettes heat liquid nicotine into a flavored, smokeless vapor.
The CDC recently released a report saying more teens are trying them, so lawmakers want to look into banning the sale of E-cigarettes to minors.
A law would not be introduced until next year.
