Omaha, NE - An Omaha couple can't walk out of their own front door Sunday night after a 100 foot tree toppled onto their home.
Severe storms tore through Omaha for hours, flooding backyards and littering debris across the metro. At 38th and Leavenworth one family can't get out of their front door.
They believe the fierce wind uprooted the tree around 7:30 P.M. It crushed three of their cars, damaged their roof and lifted large chunks of cement from the ground.
One man was upstairs when the tree came down. He said he heard a loud boom and the house shook.
Everyone inside is okay.
