Maha Music Festival A Success

Omaha, NE- As music echoed through the air at Aksarben village, hundreds of festival fans came out to enjoy the last bit of summer. Saturday, gates opened at noon for the fifth annual "Maha music festival."
The volunteer run non-profit festival was in it's third year at Stinson park. More than ten Indie acts rocked the park until midnight and the closing act, the much anticipated 'The Flaming Lips'.
Saturdays clear skies brought fan's out early for 12 hours of tunes. "Especially like today man. It's just like 82 degree's and no chance of rain...it's going to be gangster," said attendee Cody Scholz. Joseph Garvey, another concert goer agreed, "I like the bands this year. It was probably a little too hot last year, this year is a little cooler so I thought I would come out and check out bands."
The Flaming Lips took the stage around ten, many said they enjoyed the performance.
