Judge Sets Jenkins Plea Hearing For Wednesday

By Tom Lesyna. CREATED Apr 14, 2014

Omaha, NE- A Douglas County judge will hear accused killer Nikko Jenkins' motion to plead guilty to all charges on Wednesday morning. Jenkins filed the hand-written motion to change his plea to guilty on Friday in Douglas County District Court. Just last week, Jenkins tried to plead no contest to the charges, but Judge Peter Bataillon refused to accept the pleas because it's a death penalty case. Jenkins is acting as his own attorney, and in February Bataillion ruled he was competent to stand trial.

Jenkins is accused of killing four people last August, shortly after his release from prison.
