If you haven't started buying new school clothes and shoes, plan a shopping trip in Iowa this weekend.
Iowa's annual sales tax holiday is this Friday and Saturday.
It's not just for people who live in Iowa. Folks in Nebraska can buy too!
This year's holiday kicks off at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, and continues through midnight, Saturday Aug. 3.
During that time, Iowa law requires retailers to waive sales tax on most clothing and shoes priced below $100.
State lawmakers approved the shopping spree back in 1999, to give families a break as they purchased back-to-school clothes.
But retailers say adults looking for good deals on apparel can also take advantage of the tax-free weekend.
