A grieving Ohio father posted one small request on Reddit over the weekend and online users responded.
Nathan Steffel's daughter, Sophia, died at just 6 weeks old on July 10 from a liver tumor. Steffel had one wish, a photo of his little girl without the tubes she had been on while in the hospital.
His Reddit post read. "My daughter passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life, we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?" Steffel wrote.
What happened next was an outpouring from people on the social networking site with portraits of his daughter without tubes.
Steffel responded on Reddit, "This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received as a long of love and support from a bunch of strangers."
