OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The timing couldn’t be better for a donation of fans to the Salvation Army Thursday.

The Omaha Professional Fire Fighters Association says they spent $500 on fans for the organization’s Summer Fan Program.

Temperatures are expected to reach 98 degrees on Friday.

Anyone can donate new fans to the program by dropping them off at the Salvation Army Lied Renaissance Center.

Those in need of a fan to keep cool can fill out an application there as well.
