Crash Victim Wakes Up from Coma
Omaha, NE - Marian High School student Carly Anne Kelly woke up from a medically induced coma today at the Nebraska Medical Center.
Her family issued a statement saying "Words can't describe our appreciation for all the community's prayers and kind thoughts. Carly finally woke up today, and has been upgraded from Critical to Serious condition. We are enjoying her best day yet."
Kelly was injured in a crash earlier this month on Highway 370 in Sarpy County.
Her friend, Madeline Shely is recovering at the Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln.
15-year-old Nathan LaFave died in the crash.
