B-17 bomber on display in Council Bluffs

Council Bluffs, IA--It's one of 10 left that can fly, and you can see it for a few more days. A group of volunteers have landed one of the last flying WWII B-17 bombers in Council Bluffs. It will be on display and available for rides and tours at Council Bluffs Municipal Airport through September 15th from 10a-6p each day.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was the primary bomber used by the American Air Force in WWII.
You can visit and go inside the war bird for a $5 donation. A flight on board starts at $425.00 per person.
